Recent Initiatives and Accomplishments
The Trees of Abundance: This global movement is actively being implemented by local partners in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) zone of Bangladesh, promoting large-scale tree planting and biodiversity restoration.
GIZ Bangladesh Climate and Biodiversity Cluster: Abunx has provided long-term support through moderation, facilitation, documentation, and research related activities to the Climate and Biodiversity Cluster of GIZ Bangladesh.
German Development Cooperation Projects: Abunx has actively supported various workshops and strategy sessions for the “Creating Liveable and Inclusive Cities for All (LICA)” project, facilitated discussions, and captured key findings for the “Promoting the Climate-Adapted Resource Management of Drinking Water (SAIDABAD)” project.
Urban Management of Migration Projects: Abunx played a leading role in facilitating the closing of the international conference for the Urban Management of Internal Migration due to Climate Change (UMIMCC) and Urban Management of Migration and Livelihoods (UMML) projects, in collaboration with the German Development Cooperation and the Government of Bangladesh.
